Color: Staging Your Home for Sale

I don't often write a lot about staging homes here on my blog. I've asked myself why dozens of times and I think I realized it's because a lot of solid design strategies just naturally work when staging a home. But then I realized maybe some of you may not realize that. So... if you read my design and decorating tips, and you're thinking of selling your home, ask yourself what would you do differently if the room you've now decorated needed to be staged. Sometimes it's just a matter of editing the room's contents, refining the layout or floor plan, and playing with placement and color. And sometimes it's a whole lot more.

Color has a major impact on selling a home. But what color do you choose? You want a color that highlights the architecture, wraps the room in warmth, and invites you in. These shades from Benjamin Moore are some of my favorites and should make a prospective buyer linger a while longer.

Color Inspiration

Manchester Tan HC-81, Monroe Bisque HC-26, Camouflage 2143-40, Carrington Beige HC-93, Shaker Beige HC-45, Nantucket Gray HC-111

This is awful informatics, brittle and clear. I anticipate that everything has been declared in analytical address so that clairvoyant could get best advice and apprentice abounding things. This is one of the best blogs I accept read.Ukranian Village Real Estate

Color may make or break the aesthetic appeal of your house. It sets the mood for the entire space, which can also be a deciding factor for potential buyers. Before giving your house a new coat of paint, better ask for professional help.

You're absolutely right, Kimberly! Color can be a determining factor if your home will be sold or not! When staging your home, it is very important that you talk to a professional interior designer so he/she can give you an overview of what is the right color you should be having in your home. It is not just about what you like, but also about what your buyers will like.

Hi,

which of these colors is the color painted on the walls in the photo? It's beautiful!

Thank you,

Tiffany

Hi Tiffany. The color is Camoflage - third one in. It looks a bit darker because of the shadows in the room. :)

It’s true that the color scheme can influence the marketability of the house. As much as possible, choose colors that known to bring inviting atmosphere in the house, like different shades of white or pastel colors. They are a good choice if you want your house look classier and pristine. Good luck!
