Totally Crushing Over

Desks. Specifically, this desk. I found it over on The Everygirl site and fell in love. Whether you make resolutions or not, I think there's one thing we can all agree on when it comes to the New Year—let's get organized!

I'm much happier if I have a clean, well-organized place to work, but let's not overlook the importance of how your space looks.

An inspiration (pin) board is a must. And the one featured here is from PB Teen and it's on sale right now for $199. I really splurged on my board many years ago, but they're not so difficult to make either. Now fill it with inspirational quotes, mini pieces of art, cards, photos, and a few 3-dimensional elements. Use everyday objects to create a stylish desktop. Lean small photos or art against the wall. Use a glass paperweight to catch he light and secure papers. Fill your favorite mug with pens and pencils and your favorite tea cup with paperclips. And if you are a more is more type of person, stay in the same color family and your work space won't look cluttered.
