My goal for 2015 is to get it on the page! I've been making writing goals for myself for a while now, but I have yet to reach for something bigger. This year, I'm going to try. So for the next 6 months, I will be dedicating 5 days a week to writing no less than 1000 words. And I'm taking you along on the journey. Each month or so, I will keep you updated on how I'm doing, what I'm doing, and the ups and downs I will inevitably experience.
I'm not just doing this for myself; my hope is that as I share my story it will help jumpstart any goals you may have to get it on the page. It's daunting to start a big project, but when you break it down—50 words is a paragraph, 400 words is a page, 300 pages is a manuscript—you're more likely to see your progress and continue to move forward.
What am I writing? Well, by the time I thought I would write this post, all would be revealed. However, I'm still mulling over exactly what the end result will be. I have several ideas for books and essays that I've been toying with for some time. I may end up starting with one thing and moving on to another. This is part of my journey right now and I'm interested to see where it leads!
Would you like to share any goals (writing or otherwise) you've planned for 2015?

This is inspiring! I'm an aspiring writer and I can't wait to read what your experiences are like. I'll be following along!
This is awesome. I've loved reading your posts for years so I can't wait to see what you have instore for us.
As for myself. i'm jumping on the "word" of the year bandwagon. My word is refresh. Refresh my body, mind, soul, and home.
I just need to get started!
I'm going to start to keep a journal. I've tried in the past but I never seem to find the time. I wish you well with your project. I plan to read all about it.
Great! I'm so glad you're in.
Terri, I hope you enjoy the posts. Kristen, I love your "word". Good luck! And Sara, I've been neglecting my journal, so I'm with you. I need to scratch off a few sentences a day.
Enjoy.
