Okay, so things have not exactly started out as I had planned. I'm in the process of moving Kate into her first apartment before she starts second term next week, and I've been shopping, organizing, and crafting non-stop for over two weeks. I could say I'm not making excuses, but I am. My world comes to a stand-still when my girls are on holiday for any reason, so that's what I've been up to. No 1000 words a day for me this week.
I did manage to get my writing organized, so I'm going to let myself off the hook. As with any great plan—resolutions, goals, projects you set out to do—life is always going to get in the way, but that doesn't mean you should give up or get discouraged. I plan to continue on as though I'm just starting, which in essence, I am.
Onward.

Kim, I totally understand. My world also does that when my daughter is home - it isn't her fault, and it is never on purpose, but I just seem to drift...I think it is a good Mom thing :-)
Thanks, Wendy. That's why I didn't beat myself up over it. This week is going much better as you'll read later today.
Thanks for the support!
