Have a Spooktacular Weekend!

I hope you have something (frightfully) fun planned this weekend. The girls are home as this is Amanda's favorite holiday, and we're getting ready to watch our favorite Halloween movies, carve pumpkins, eat some chili, and go un-trick-or-treating tomorrow night. Kate is pulling together her Luna Lovegood costume and I'm not sure what Amanda is up to just yet.

I hope you enjoyed some of last week's Halloween posts. Here is a re-cap as you can still put together some playful and not so scary decorations for very little money at the last minute.

Create a Mad Scientist table with inexpensive decorations like spider webs, cookie jars, and free printables.

You don't need to haunt the whole house... how about one little area?

Be inspired by this year's creation, Mummy's Dinner Invitation.

No costume? Black will do. It's chic and sophisticated, and works all year round too.

Items from around the house (how about some old curtains) or outdoors (leaves and twigs) make great costumes.

Enjoy!
