Chatham: Best Beach Towns in America

House Beautiful recently released their list of the best beach towns in America, and of course Chatham was on the list. As you probably know by now, I spend a good deal of time on the Cape and Chatham happens to be one of my favorites. As HB put it, Chatham "...is the perfect place to escape the crowds, thanks to its small town qualities (it's completely walkable) and its spectacular coastline."

Not to be missed... the Orpheum Theatre (It re-opened last summer and you HAVE to go see Jaws.), Yellow Umbrella Books, Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, yoga on the beach, concerts in the park, an Anglers baseball game, chocolate from the Candy Manor, lunch at the Chatham Village Cafe, dinner at The Chatham Squire.

And check out the seals (and sharks!) at South Beach.
